Staying COVID-19 Secure
As the coronavirus pandemic continues across the world, the impact on Europe and the UK is taking affect once again. There are regional approaches to tackling the pandemic and this can have an impact on business.
England, Wales and Scotland have varying strategies in place during November, with England announcing a lockdown from Thursday 5th November (to 2nd December when it will be replaced by a three tier structure). Wales had a firebreak in place until Monday 9th November and Scotland continues to follow it’s Strategic Framework with the announcement of local protection levels.
The HETAS office remains open with a reduced capacity so we can continue to provide our services, the team still remain available via phone, email and social media, operating under our usual hours. You can find our contact details here.
Working in other people’s homes
The positive news is that each region has permitted tradespeople to continue working, provided they can ensure they are COVID-19 Secure. Tradespeople have been required to undertake these measures for several months now and will be happy to discuss their policies and measures directly with you.

For England, where non-essential retail is required to close, these businesses can remain open for delivery to customers and click-and-collect.
