Ventilators
Ventilators are manufactured from a variety of materials such as ceramics and UV stable thermo-plastics. They are preferably supplied as boxed sets complete with inner and outer grilles with connecting duct-work for bridging cavity walls and/or making the connection between the two ventilator openings through solid walls.
Ancillary
There are often no specific technical standards for assessing the design, production or performance of this type of equipment although in some cases there may exist standards for individual components from which the equipment is built up. It is therefore often not a requirement that the equipment is CE Marked.
CO Alarm and Analysers
Carbon Monoxide (CO) is a poisonous gas with no taste, colour or smell. It is produced by the incomplete combustion of carbon-based fuels (e.g. gas, oil & solid fuels like wood). Tragically each year people die because of CO poisoning – others are made ill.
